Woodstove needs a hole and I’m a reptile….

I have to install a wood stove, which I have to dig a hole? Like a reptile? This sounds like some classic Zec-assery.

Dumpster?🎃
I like my boresnake
Dude that thing is a smaller machate any way you cut it, the one that came out of your pocket is a "bushcraft" knife. Theyre really just a nice solid knife for all around cutting and such. Thats all a bushcraft knife would be. Idk what youre shitting on here other than fan boying about tomahawks and shit talking a machete you found. Who told you that machete was a bushcraft knife anyway?
Knives are for cutting not for chopping. Don't beat on your knife.
Thank you.
You’re welcome!
New handle..just do it.
Yeah…..
Like 'em both, got both. I say it's not so much of a pistol or revolver for SHTF. It's the caliber choice for your preferred gun. Some exotic hard to find calibers in normal times will be impossible during the times of the worst. This is why it's any combination of the following is best: 9mm Lugar, .45-acp, .38-spl, .357-mag, 5.56-NATO, 7.62-NATO, 7.62-x39, .50-bmg, .243-Winchester, .30-30 Winchester, .40-S&W, 12-ga shotgun for the keepers. There's a growing amount of 10mm auto. With the amount of physical labor needed to accomplish things. I really sympathize with older people. Plus, all the attacks from desperate, starving younger people.
Great comment! Thank you!
I'm a bit surprised as a outdoors man bent on surviving off grid you'd decide to buy CLP. For the longest time I just used whatever grease I could find and clean it with 70% alcohol. It works for years and years. I'm not using 70% still but with TW25b.
Fair question, I’ll use the good stuff until it’s not available in this instance. CLP really is a an excellent product.
Dumbest knife video I have seen so far.
There has to be at least one dumber.
@@TheRevoltingMan You don't even understand what a Bushcraft knife is for!
@@CandidZulu I do, I just think it’s stupid.
What year is your Tundra?
Geez Brother, No snow? Dang I got a shitload up here in Canada! Nice to get a video! A live would be nice!
We’ll get a livestream next week! I’m sorry it’s been so long.
@@TheRevoltingMan No problem! Should be there! May god be with you!
So would boiled Linseed Oil on the whole handle help with the plugs shrinking? Often hear it's best to help maintain your wooden handled tools..........
I wasn’t sure if it make it swell or just make it slide. I glued each peg and that didn’t help.
Keep on plugin at it!
I always gue the split and wrap it with tie wire! Fast cheap and easy ish,
Time for a Saturday Night live, it’s been a while.
It has, I’m planning on one this Saturday God willing.
Try going against the grain😜
That’s how I live my life, against the grain!
@TheRevoltingMan ditto
Going by time zones I'm first by five hours and fifty minutes 😂
Black locust makes the best non-shrinking plugs
I didn’t know that, thanks!
I appreciate you and all others who post a video and get right to the point instead of dragging out a 5 minute video into a 20+ minute video just for the revenue
Bushcraft knives are for UA-cam backyard campers and I don't like the idea of them giving people bad advice. Thank you and God bless you and your family and America 🇺🇸

Saws are useless? Are you high?
The pin issue Alone Negates any further time watching this Vid. BaBye!!
Time and energy...
Batoning is just if u lose u axe and u need to burn some wood in case u remained in that night in the woods or if u are lost and only got a knife 🔪 is good for fire to sleep at night that's it i dont see it why u should do it if u got an axe
What's great about life is if You think bushcrafting and bushcraft skills are stupid then don't do it and if you think a bona-fide real life bushcraft knife is stupid then don't buy one . Different strokes for different folks ain't life awesome Lol
That opening statement was hilarious and spot on!!
You truly are a revolting man.
Try building a fire after it has been raining for 3 days. That’s the only reason to cut and baton, to get to the dry wood inside. A small saw, and a sturdy full tang knife will accomplish all you need to do. Who in survival bushcrafting needs to cut down a huge tree? You tottally misunderstand the bushcraft knife concept. You have to have a knife, and 4-5 “ blade is all you need, as you are only going to split 2-4” diameter sticks. I’d rather have one good knife, and small folding saw than a tiny knife and a hatchet. To top it off you don’t know history for beans
I often wonered why you would batton your survival knife when you are likely in a forrect which has very size [oece pf wppd/
It is not the stick shift of the gun community... Stick shift is actually fun iron sights are not
all of my cars are manual and my AR has iron sights (for now)
So yeah, you're completely wrong. A "boys ax" (the nickname for a "3/4s" ax) is a mid-weight ax with a well-defined POU (philosophy of use). Your f'ing prejudice for a full size ax is just a narrow-minded concept of what axes are for. The so-called boys axes were the preferred ax of the US Forestry service for decades for a reason. You ignorant SOB.
Thank you brother! Finally getting my first AR and this was some awesome info. Really appreciated your detail. You've given me confidence and piece of mind.
You can tell the quality of an axe man by the size of his chips.
That’s what she said…..

Simplified = Use the Proven BEST Performing Tool for a Specific Job Says it all.
Heh, you've got more snow on the ground than I do here in the High Desert of Oreegon.
lol, that’s funny.
For that application, you could probably get decent results with a hose clamp....I'll be interested in how long it holds....I've been using my 10 pounder for 3 years now , original handle. Maybe you're just over powering that sucker?Lol.
I wish. It’s probably just the white oak I’ve been splitting lately. I’ll try it in some white oak this weekend and see if it still holds.
Carried a 96 Brigadier 40cal in the border patrol now a 9mm glock 47. love them both....but i am a 40 cal man.
Cool trick. Keep us posted on how it works out.
Will do sir! I need to get on a call with soy sometime soon.
@@TheRevoltingMan roger that
Clamps underneath a collapsed shed that tells me all I need to know they will do you no good under there lol😁 at least you got the old stove working before the snow 👍
The collapsed shed is bothersome for sure. Things continue apace around the homestead, towards entropy.
I knew a bigger peg before, th3y called her fat peggy, and she was a big one!
I really like that you try something. My motto is to try fixing it myself first. These days most people want to call $omeone to "fix it" - but you're not going to learn anything that way.
It’s always an adventure that way for sure!
Oorahh "
Hey Les!
You have had more snow than Iowa this year ,maybe some wood glue..
I thought the liquid nails might be better but I don’t really know.
I see a new handle in your future. 🤔
Yeah, maybe it will last a few months.
